Visitors can spot them basking in the sun, gliding stealthily through shallow waters, or nesting along riverbanks during boat safaris or guided tours. Often seen near areas like Rusinga Island and Ndere Island National Park, observing these ancient creatures in their natural habitat is both thrilling and educational for nature and wildlife enthusiasts.
